Beli, a food review app, has just come out with their picks for the best ice cream shops in the U.S.
They analyzed more than 100-million ratings on their app to find the top-rated ice cream and gelato shops nationwide.
So, what is the ultimate spot in the country for a tasty frozen treat? Ferris Acres Creamery in Newtown, Connecticut, tops the list. It’s been open since 2003, but Ferris Acres family-owned farm has been operating since 1864, and three generations of family members are currently running the creamery. They offer classic flavors, including peppermint and black raspberry, along with unique ones, like Bada Bing, an almond and chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate chinks and Bing cherries. The creamery also serves several flavors of sorbet, including pineapple and blueberry lemon, along with vegan options made from coconut milk.
