Here's The 2025 Cost For The 12 Days Of Christmas

According to the PNC Christmas Price Index, buying everything included in the song for your “true love” would set you back $51,476.12 this year.

  • Overall, that’s up 4.5% over last year, but some gifts jumped much more in price.
  • Five Gold Rings saw the single biggest increase with 32.5%, but the Pear Tree cost climbed 13.5%.
  • Many of the prices for the birds involved didn’t go up at all.

Broken down by gift, the costs are:

  • A Partridge in a Pear Tree - $420.18
  • Two Turtle Doves - $750
  • Three French Hens - $346.50
  • Four Calling Birds - $599.96
  • Five Gold Rings - $1,649.90
  • Six Geese-A-Laying - $930
  • Seven Swans-A-Swimming - $13,125
  • Eight Maids-A-Milking - $58
  • Nine Ladies Dancing - $8,856.88
  • Ten Lords-A-Leaping - $16,836.14
  • Eleven Pipers Piping - $3,797.48
  • Twelve Drummers Drumming - $4,106.08

While nearly $52-thousand sounds like a lot, if you bought all the items repeated over and over in the song, you’d be on the hook for a lot more. All the repetitions come out to 364 gifts, which add up to a total of $218,542.98, 4.4% more than last year.
