Survey Reveals What Most Americans Believe Will Happen In 2025

 A new survey from Ipsos asks people to do, specifically about the year ahead.

  • They polled nearly 24-thousand people from 33 countries, including India, Canada, Ireland, Malaysia, Thailand and the U.S. about their expectations and predictions for 2025.
  • Overall, people are pretty optimistic, with 71% believing that 2025 will be better than 2024.
  • A lot of people worldwide are focusing on self-improvement this year, and hope to see improvements in mental (69%) and physical (69%) health this year.
  • The research is broken down into responses from each country’s participants, so we can see what Americans think are most likely to happen during 2025.
  • Number one on the list? More extreme weather events, which 66% of Americans think will happen more this year.

  • More extreme weather events in the U.S. - 66%
  • Inflation will be higher - 59%
  • Their personal data will be leaked on the Internet - 58%
  • Immigration will increase - 56%
  • Unemployment will be higher - 63%
  • Women will get paid the same as men - 43%
  • There will be a new global pandemic caused by a new virus - 39%
  • Four-day work weeks will be the new normal - 30%
  • Population will go down - 28%
  • People will become more tolerant - 26%
  • The war in Ukraine will end - 26%
  • Conflicts in the Middle East will end - 19%
