Kenny Chesney’s Silver Sands Marina made its long-awaited debut on Friday (September 25).

The 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee, 58, said the album is “11 songs built on moments, memories and emotions that make us feel alive. I hope this album brings you joy and takes you to your own Silver Sands Marina, wherever that may be.” The album, co-produced with Buddy Cannon, includes the previously-released title track, “Burn My Boat,” “Carry On,” “Goldfish,” and more, plus “Remember Me That Way,” which premiered on country radio one day before the album’s arrival. Chesney spoke about Silver Sands Marina and more on The Bobby Bones Show on Friday morning.

Silver Sands Marina, Chesney’s 21st studio record, “has been unorthodox,” according to a press release. The album is three years in the making, and turned out to be “a collection that holds together at the heart. …The project delivers a sense of arrival, places and the smallest moments that define a life.”

“Having had the time to cut so many really great songs, but also listen to them, think about how they fit together,” Chesney shared in a statement, “the songs were also able to talk to each other. They showed me, Buddy, some of the people near me what they wanted to say in a larger way… And when ‘Silver Sands Marina’ captured that one perfect moment two share together with no distractions, everything fell into place.

“That’s the thing about music: the more you listen, the more it will tell you about life,” he continued. “Whether it’s how to get through it, laugh it off, make it more or recognize what’s so rare and special, it’s all there if you’ll slow down and listen. When we did, well, you can hear it in these 11 songs.”

Chesney, who recently made his highly-anticipated return to the iHeartRadio Music Festival after more than a decade, will celebrate Silver Sands Marina’s release with a “sold-out-in-seconds” pop-up show on Friday night at the Pinnacle in Nashville. In 2027, Chesney will kick off his “Original Vibe Room Tour” with Eric Church, plus Sheryl Crow, Greylan James and a special appearance by Old Dominion. That run of shows will kick off on April 24, 2027 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. See the list of tour stops below.

“No Shoes Nation has always been a passionate, all-in kind of place,” Chesney said in a statement. “They work hard, play hard, love hard – and music moves through all of it. We’ve got songs here that are very fun, real, and honest; but they’re also things they’re not expecting, because I know I’d never heard songs like some of these before, either.

“That’s why we wanted to go play them live, and not wait for Tampa,” he continued. “Everyone in the band agreed, this is music that needs people to come fully alive, so I’m fired up to be playing Pinnacle tonight… We all – Buddy, me, so many of us – make this music for everyone else to enjoy – and today finally the circle of Silver Sands Marina is complete.”
