Tasty African Food KC struggled after relocating to a new storefront, because their Google Business address hadn’t updated, leaving loyal customers unable to find them.
Local business owner Davis Roethler discovered their situation on social media and decided to help by sharing their story on TikTok. His video got lots of hits, and soon after, Google updated the restaurant’s address.
The exposure brought a surge of customers, with lines forming before opening. Co‑owner Florence Muni says it was the busiest they’d ever been, while Roethler credits the community for rallying behind a small local business.
