Memorial Day weekend means having a backyard party and bbq and HGTV is helping you elevate the experience. If you haven’t thrown a holiday party before, the DIY channel has created a “how to” for you ,but it’s only part of the puzzle. Try adding these suggested elements:
- On-Theme Libation Station
- Buzz-Worthy Sangria Pops
- Unexpected Seating. Think hay bales with patriotic throw blanket over them
- Elevated Snacks, Try a potato chip bar, or lay out unique condiments
- Pallet Stations. Use a stack of pallets to display food or drinks and decorate with bandanas
- Have A Backyard Beer Tasting
- Crowd-Pleasing Rib Cups. Pour bbq sauce in a cup and stick a rib in it
- Get Glowing. Add string and other lighting to your backyard. Go all out
- Put Tables And Chairs On The Lawn. it gives a good vibe and also stops “traffic jams” on the deck or patio
- Wrap It Up With An Outdoor Movie
