It features includes actual courses like What if Harry Potter is Real? at App State, Demystifying the Hipster – Tufts University, Tree Climbing – Cornell University, Surviving the Coming Zombie Apocalypse – Michigan State University.

Now Hawaii Community College students earning their Associate in Arts Degree in Hawaii studies can add hula as a concentration. The school says it has strengthened students' cultural identity and connection to ohana. The program's impact is being highlighted during the Merrie Monarch Festival. The annual festival's opening ceremony has grown from about 30 individuals to more than 400 ritual practitioners, including HCC students.
