Tom Bergeron Fired From Dancing With The Stars

“Dancing with The Stars” is going to look a little different next season.Tom Bergeron is out after 28 seasons.

Bergeron announced the news on Twitter, saying he just learned the show would be “continuing without me.” “It’s been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career,” he writes. “That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?”

Bergeron co-hosted all 28 seasons of the dance competition show with Andrews from 2005 to 2020 – that’s 15 years and almost 450 episodes. ABC has expressed their “sincerest thanks and gratitude” for Bergeron’s “trademark wit and charm” over the years.”

And according to Variety Erin Andrews is out too! “Tom Bergeron will forever be part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family. As we embark on a new creative direction, he departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success. Erin will also not be returning, and we appreciate all that she brought to the ballroom. Fans have been rooting for her since she originally competed as a contestant back in 2010, and her signature sense of humor has become a hallmark of the show,” the studios said in a statement to Variety.

Erin had been the co host the last 10 season who followed in the footsteps of Lisa Canning, Samantha Harris and Brooke Burke who had been the co hosts the first 18 seasons.
