Man Arrested After Faking Coronavirus Illness

The AJC reports that a Georgia man is being accused of faking a COVID-19 diagnosis, which forced the shutdown of a large Atlanta company.

The FBI said yesterday the unnamed Fortune 500 company continued to pay employees while it shut down for cleaning after Santwon Antonio Davis revealed a fake medical letter. That cost the unnamed company over 100-thousand-dollars!

Several of Davis’ co-workers had to be quarantined.

The man has been arrested and already made his first court appearance. Davis was released from his third prison stint 2/27/19 and appears to be headed back after federal charges of wire fraud were brought against him.
