Thanks to a ton of uncleared snow, a person riding a motorized wheelchair on the 6-10 connector in Providence, Rhode Island got a State Police escort off the highway Tuesday afternoon. The rider expressed concern that he couldn’t travel on city sidewalks because of snow banks, so he used the street. The person riding the wheelchair also got a lecture from cops about the dangers of trying to travel on a highway. The wheelchair driver backed up traffic as he rolled on the highway.
