Thomas Rhett spilled some health news on the “Annie F. Downs' That Sounds Fun” podcast. The “Country Again” singer revealed “I’m kind of going deaf in this ear a little bit. I had to go get hearing aids as a 35-year-old man.” But once he could hear what everyone else heard he decided the hearing aids were not for him . “I’m sitting there just messing with the functions on my phone. I’m like, ‘Noise cancel, noise cancel,’ and when I take them out I’m like, ‘Okay, this is normal again.’ I just stand there, and I'm like, ‘This is insanity.’”
Of course a singer having any kind of a hearing issue can be a serious problem for their career so Thomas is getting his hearing checked on the regular.
Meanwhile, Rhett and his wife Lauren are waiting for their fifth child to be born. He says this will probably be the last one. "I mean, five has kind of always been our number. Anything above five, we will have to get a Sprinter van."
