A New Jersey man has decided to trade in his snow shovel for a robot and he’s going viral. Tom Moloughney posted a video of his autonomous robot blowing snow off his path as he stayed inside, kept warm and drank coffee. Moloughney turned the robot on last weekend when it started snowing and, except for breaks to return to its charging station, the robot cleared the six-thousand-square-foot driveway. The clever homeowner was reviewing the robot, a Yarbo, for his YouTube channel, as part of his experiment. The robot sells for roughly over $5k on Amazon. Moloughney says the robot comes with a downside, “I'll tell you right now, this isn't for people that just want to buy something, take it out of a box and use it. I have probably 30 hours invested in assembling, programming it, walking it around my driveway."
