Matthew McConaughey is getting ahead of any unauthorized deepfakes and AI use. The Oscar-award winner filed a trademark for his famous catchphrase "Alright, alright, alright" from the 1993 movie "Dazed and Confused." McConaughey has had eight trademark applications approved over the past several months to stop AI apps from using his voice without permission. The trademark was filed in December 2023 and was approved just recently. He told the “Wall Street Journal’ that he wants to "create a clear perimeter around ownership" within the AI world.
