Bad Bunny's selection has drawn backlash and a petition to replace him with country music legend George Strait has received thousands of signatures. The commissioner said the pick will not be reconsidered and "We're confident it's going to be a great show. He understands the platform that he's on, and I think it's going to be exciting and a united moment." Goodell said he doesn't think there has ever been a halftime performer who didn't receive some blowback or criticism. He added that he thinks Bad Bunny's performance is "going to be exciting and a united moment."
