James Finlinson started working at a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Ammon in 2017 when he was 16. Seeing his boss struggle with manually scheduling tasks, he proposed a solution and began learning software programming to address the issue. Finlinson developed OneClickApp, a workforce management app aimed at improving efficiency.His boss paid him $75 a week for his efforts while he worked on it.
After teaming up with entrepreneur Michael Alvarez, Finlinson turned his idea into a reality. Idaho Business Review reports that OneClickApp has been a success, now serving over 80 Chick-fil-A locations and saving franchise operators an estimated $35-million through improved efficiency and employee retention,
Today James is a multi millionaire as is his dad who became the CFO of the company back in 2018. One Click App employs dozens of people and serves companies like Delta, Hilton, and Ebay all over the world!
The app provides multiple benefits with features such as shift management, training, messaging, and more, and is in use by around one in five Chick-fil-A franchise owners and over 40-thousand employees.
