School Bus Driver Incredible Act Of Kindness To Crying 7 Year Old

Kentucky school bus driver 35 year old Larry Farrish Jr loves his job and tries to build relationships with all of the children. But on this morning saw a first grader named Levi who didn't want to talk.

“Normally when I pull up, he’s standing there waiting for me with a big smile, but on this day, he was sitting on the ground with a jacket over his head. I asked him, ‘Hey buddy, what’s going on? What’s wrong?’”

He was crying because he didn't have pajamas for the school’s Pajama Day. Larry says "No child should have to miss out on something as small as pajama day."

After finishing his route, the bus driver stopped by a Family Dollar store to buy Levi some jammies. He then delivered them to the school's office, turning Levi's day around and bringing joy to both of them. Levi expressed gratitude, saying, "Mr. Larry is nice and my heart is filled with joy. I’m usually really happy, but not on pajama day…When he got me the pajamas, I did a happy cry.”

Larry, who’s been a bus driver for seven years, also cried after receiving so many messages of thanks from the community. “For people to actually be able to find me and reach out on behalf of such a small gesture, it made me cry,”
