Alyssa Milano Defends Her Go Fund Me Campaign

Alyssa Milano caught some heat after asking her fans to donate to a GoFundMe for her son’s baseball team so they could go on a trip to a big baseball tournament. She was requesting $10,000 in donations.

Despite making millions over the course of her career, her husband David Bugliari who continues to make millions as an agent for stars like Bradley Cooper, Johnny Depp, Constance Wu, Jennifer Hudson at CAA the couple is asking fans to cover the costs.

It worked. There's currently 482 donations totalling $15,099

Social media called her out at the time, saying she should be able to pay for it herself…and she said that she does chip in…but still felt asking for donations was fine.

Now the actress is back, defending herself once again. Her son has apparently been getting comments posted on his own Instagram calling out his mom…and he shot back at haters, telling them “I’m only 12 and I love my mom. My mom is the greatest human of all time.” Milano posted a screenshot of the interaction online, with some words for people dragging her in the comments on her son's Instagram.

“Every parent raises money for their child’s sports teams and many of them do so through GoFundMe. I am no different,” Milano shares. “As much as I’d love to pay for the entire team and their families for travel, transportation, hotel, food and beverage, uniforms, trading pins, and all the things teams do for this kind of trip—I can not afford to do so. Maybe someday.” She also guesses that if she did pay for everyone…people would complain about that too.
