Mother Is Blown Away By Generosity Of Stranger At Gas Station

Ashley Goodrow went into the Citgo gas station in Rockland, Massachusetts, asking for $7 worth of gas.

The mother of two was recovering from health issues and had been experiencing money problems and only had seven dollars for gas. The man who had just paid for his own gas was walking out but he overheard her. “He said, ‘Did you just put $7 on your pump?’ and I said, ‘yes,’ and he kind of shook his head and he handed me something and it was a $100 bill,” 

Their conversation continued, and he learned about her health problems and her challenges with raising her 2 kids on her own. He then handed her an additional $100. He said “everyone can use a little bit of help once in a while.” Ashley said “He really was my angel. He was amazing,” 

Grateful for the unexpected help, she’s now turned to social media to try and reconnect with the man who helped her in her difficult time. She hopes to be able to personally thank him for his kindness and tell him how much his help meant to her and her kids.
