Friday, supervisors with the Prince William County Police Department wanted to treat their entire staff with a surprise breakfast from Chick-fil-A. They ordered biscuits, muffins, and burritos from the drive-thru of the Chick-fil-A in Woodbridge, but when they pulled forward to pay for the food, they learned that a man named Dillon in front of them in line had picked up the tab on their $165 order!
In a post to social media, the Prince William County Police Department thanked Dillon for his act of kindness. They also shared that the sergeant who picked up the order wondered if Dillon knew the order was going to be so expensive before paying for it and it was confirmed that he did.
The department shared their gratitude and celebrated Dillon's generous act of “paying it forward” in their post. “Thank you, Dillon!,” they wrote, “You have proven kindness is rewarded with kindness.”
