A four-year-old girl in Knoxville was having an incredibly bad month. She laid on her mothers chest and hugged her for several days as she was dying at UT Medical Center.
After the funeral friends and family helping dad accidentally donated her beloved teddy bear to a Goodwill Store. Her dad scrambled to the store to see if he could find it but it was already gone. There were local radio and TV stories about it and somehow the news made it to. Build-A-Bear's Public Relations Director, Jamie Ludwig,
She contacted the dad for a description of the stuffed animal.
The company was able to locate a matching Rainbow Sparkle Bear and added a recording of her mothers heart that her grandmother had made.
Now when she hugs her bear she will hear her mothers heart just like she did when she hugged her mom.
