NFL Player Saves Car Crash Victim

March 5th, at about 2:30 in the morning Minnesota Vikings wide receiver KJ Osborn was riding in an Uber heading to his home in Austin, Texas, when he and the driver saw a vehicle that had crashed on the side of the expressway. The car had flames coming from under the hood, so the two men pulled over the Uber driver suggested that they call 911. "I'm like, 'No, you know, we gotta go see this guy,'" and then rushed to check on the driver who was stuck in the vehicle. "I don't have experience in this. So in my head, I'm thinking, 'Oh, this car can blow up at any second. It'll all be over,"

As the 2 men were working to free the driver they got more help when 2 more motorists stopped. They were able to pull the driver from his vehicle seconds before it became completely engulfed in flames! Osborn later took to social media to tell the story of the harrowing incident. "Right Place Right Time. 💜“ he tweeted along with pics from the scene.

"Last night myself and these 3 absolute heroes helped save a man’s life by rescuing him from a vehicle up in flames after a bad crash. A situation I’d never imagine being a part of in a million years.”

The Uber driver explained to one of the other good Samaritans that their rescue was likely going to make the national news because one of them was an NFL player.. The man had moved to Texas a few weeks earlier from Africa KJ says “He didn’t know, like, much about football. I told him like, ‘You know, this is gonna be a big thing,’” Osborn explains. “‘We just helped save someone, that was huge.’”
