Andrii Stepovyi of Pittsburgh and his wife Tarra Layne are grateful to be reunited after almost a year apart.
Last February Andrii visited his mother in the Ukraine. When the Russian's attacked Andrii was trapped with his mother. A week later he found himself enlisted in the Ukrainian military fighting Russians!
After months of fighting and repeatedly asking to be allowed to return home Andrii was released from duty and flew into Pittsburgh on NYE!
Tarra may look familiar as she was a contestant on the Voice in 2016. Below you can see a story that was done last year about Andrii being trapped in the Ukraine.
