"God Saved Me" Says Teen Crash Survivor

Sweetser Indiana is where Jaydon Lavengood was growing up and was 3 weeks away from his 18th birthday. Jaydon was out with his best friend, who driving the rural roads way too fast, when he lost control and the car left the road, hit a pole and then flipped 5 times before stopping on a yard. Jaydon was able to kick out the window and crawl out to free his unconscious cousin in the backseat. He then passed out next to the car with his cousin.

Amazingly a family member drove by a minute later and saw the carnage! They called 911 and Jaydon's mom who is a nurse. She freaked and jumped in the car to get to her son expecting the worse. “I expected broken ribs, a ruptured spleen, a lacerated liver … internal bleeding”. She prayed the entire drive over. When she arrived the fire department was using the jaws of life to try and free Jaydon's friend who had been driving. Her son was starting to come to and his cousin was still lying there as paramedics tried to move him with a broken back.

Jaydon told his mom that Jesus had been in the car with him as the accident was happening and had saved him! She knew he must be in shock and was delirious. The nurse in her knew there was going to be internal injuries. But when they got to the hospital and ran CAT and ECG scans there were no injuries. The doctors were as shocked as his mom. Especially after they treated the 2 other boys. They had no explanation for how the seatbelt hadn't done more than just some abrasions in an accident like this.

A few days later Jaydon calmly explained it again to the doctors. "Jesus appeared in the car as we were launching towards the pole. He hugged me and took the brunt of all flips. Jesus saved me".

A year after the accident Jaydon is sure he would have died. He's also sure of what he saw.
