Are we becoming vegans in the Palmetto state? A new study breaks down burger consumption by state. The state that eats the most burgers per person is Oregon with each citizen eating 79 per year. Arizona, Utah, New Mexico and Michigan are your top 5 states for burgers per citizen.
But just to be average we needed to eat 60 burgers per person per year. And we fell short of that.
South Carolinian's only eat 59 burgers per year. That puts us at #27 on the list of 50.
The people of the northeast are the ones who really drag down our national average.
43-50 are ranked as PA, ME, RI, CT, NJ, VT, MA, NY who only eat 41 burgers per year.
