Toddler Playing With Bubbles Becomes A Hero

1 year old Ethan Moore loves to play with bubbles. On August 13th he was chasing bubbles in his backyard in Coweta County, Georgia, when he made a surprising discovery. “The bubbles floated to the back of the fence... Ethan and the dogs chased after them like they always do,” recalls Ethan’s mom Brittany Moore. “This time, Ethan didn’t just chase the bubbles, but he stopped and looked into the woods. He bent down a little holding onto the fence and said ‘feet.’”

Brittany went to see what Ethan was looking at, bent down and sure enough, she could see a set of feet in the brush behind their yard. She panicked and immediately called 911. First responders went to investigate the situation and discovered an elderly woman lying in the woods behind the Moore’s house. “The one moment I will always remember is the gentleman that was assisting her yelling, ‘She is alive and talking!,’” Brittany says.

The woman was identified as 82-year-old Nina Lipscomb from Senoia, Georgia. Lipscomb suffers from Alzheimer’s and multiple law enforcement agencies had been searching for her since August 9th. The elderly woman was taken to a nearby hospital, where she spent the weekend before going home with her family.
