- Venice Beach (Venice, California)
- Waikiki Beach (Oahu, Hawaii)

- Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore (Empire, Michigan)
- Po'ipu Beach (Kauai, Hawaii)

You probably noticed that he didn't give much love to South and no love to SC! I'm going to also argue the fact that if it's not on salt water it's not a real beach, so you pound sand Michigan. But in his complete list he did rank some SC beaches.
