George Clooney Was Offered 35 Million For A Days Work. Why He Said No

Can you imagine being so rich that you could turn down $35 million? That’s George Clooney’s story these days. 

The Oscar winner was offered the money for a day’s work on an airline commercial. But after he and Amal discussed it, he decided to take a pass. “The airline was associated with a country that, although it's an ally, is questionable at times. I thought: ‘Well, if it takes a minute's sleep away from me, it's not worth it.’” 

The 60-year-old says he's chosen to act less over the last few years to spend more time with his wife and four-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander.
