The video was filmed by a fellow driver and it shows Jabari Richardson, a senior at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, getting out of his car at an interstate exit to help a homeless man.
Richardson is seen taking clothes and pairs of shoes out of his car and handing them to the man in need. He had no idea he was being filmed at the time, but a driver behind him posted the clip, which now has millions of views on social media and many more have seen it thanks to the news. They added the caption, “I don’t know this young man, but he deserves to go viral, along with the song “The Good Ones,” by Gabby Barrett playing over it.
Jabari was tracked down by some Tallahassee news outlets and told WTXL-TV he was in the process of moving at the time and he wanted to give his possessions away to someone who really needed them. "As I was growing up, my mom always taught me there's a lot of people that are in need. Not Everyone's blessed as I am. My Mom always had clothes and shoes on my back. I can definitely take that for granted. Anything can be gone in the blink of an eye."
