Officer James Wilson was responding to a complaint a few days before Valentines Day, about a woman who was selling flowers on the side of the road in Orlando Florida. Not only does she not have a license to do that but she was creating traffic issues by having cars stop at the busy intersection.
But instead of giving her a ticket, the kindhearted cop reached into his own wallet and bought all the flowers she had so she could close up shop and go home. The videoof the good deed has gone viral with more than 350-thousand views and over 36-thousand likes on TikTok.
The video was shot by a passenger in a car that was slowly rolling by the scene and was able to catch the officer saying “Here you go. What you have to do is you have to help me take them over to my car, though.”
He obviously wasn't doing it for attention or to become a social media star. He wanted to help someone who was trying to help themselves.
Social media users are piling on the praise for this police officer. “I’m in tears bro,” one comments. “That’s what we need in this damn world, kindness from all of us.”
