Idaho Lottery officials report that Orlene Peterson won a $200-thousand scratch-off prize last Friday, then won a $300-thousand prize the very next day.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Peterson says about her first winning ticket. But the real shock came the next day when she won again. “I never imagined it would be $300-thousand and that it happened again, the next day,” she says.
According to the Idaho Lottery, her double win beat odds of one in 282.5-million. So what are her plans for her new fortune? Peterson says she plans to pay bills, buy a truck and take a trip to Las Vegas with her winnings. Maybe her lucky streak will keep going for her there!
