America still mourns the passing of Jeopardy host Alex Trebek who died in November. Ken Jennings’ has recorded about 30 episodes of Jeopardy which will air starting Monday. Many had assumed that if things went well then Ken would be promoted from guest host to permanent host but a couple of his old tweets have come back to haunt him the last few weeks. Last week Ken called those posts insensitive and apologized.
Today the LA Times reports that Katie Couric will be a guest host now as well. Katie declined to comment when asked about the booking or and whether she is interested in being Trebek’s successor on a full-time basis. A representative for Sony Pictures Television, which produces “Jeopardy!,” also declined to comment or even say when the shows should be expected to air.
