A pair of farmers had their wedding interrupted when their cow began giving birth to a calf. The bride Jessa says her wedding dress was ruined but deemed it “inconsequential” compared to the excitement of the newborn calf. The calf was born at 7 p.m. during the reception in front of several guests, soon after the final wedding speech. She didn't do it alone though, about seven dairy farmers who were in attendance at the wedding helped deliver the calf. She also says that cows are the “foundation” of the relationship with her now-husband, as they first met in a pub three years ago talking about cows.
