UPDATE: Tiger Woods' car crash cause revealed

The LAPD released their findings on the Tiger Woods crash today. And the cause turns out to be an issue of speed of travel.

He was driving between 84 and 87 mph when he first made impact, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff at an earlier news conference. He was driving 75 mph when the vehicle hit a tree. The posted speed limit was 45 mph.

The automobile's black box showed that Woods’ acceleration pedal percentage, the pressure applied to the accelerator pedal at the time of the crash, was at 99% at all of the areas of impact in the collision.
