Two maintenance workers at a Virginia hospital became unexpected heroes when they braved icy, dangerous roads during a winter storm to hunt down the only formula a newborn in the ER could safely eat.
Tyler Stanger and Tyler Underwood drove through snow to a Walmart, navigated a treacherous parking lot, secured the formula, and rushed it back to the hospital—helping feed a baby who hadn’t eaten in three days.
The hospital praised the pair, along with the staff who helped transport the family by ambulance, calling their teamwork and compassion a bright spot in a tough emergency.
