Girl Scout cookie season began Tuesday, featuring a new addition called Exploremores. The sandwich cookies draw inspiration from rocky road ice cream, combining chocolate, marshmallow and toasted almond-flavored crème. “Girl Scout Cookie season is always a moment of joy and tradition, and this year promises to be incredibly exciting,” said Wendy Lou, who oversees the cookie program.
Exploremores are available nationwide both online and at local booths throughout the current season. The new cookies replace two retired flavors, Girl Scout S’mores and Toast-Yay!, which ended after the 2025 season. Classic favorites like Thin Mints, Samoas and Tagalongs return for 2026. Cookie season runs January through April, with local timing varying by area. All proceeds support Girl Scout councils and troops to fund year-round programs and experiences
