Man Attempts To Steal Faberge Egg In Most Unusual Way

A 32 year old New Zealand man decided to steal a Fabergé egg locket by allegedly swallowing it.

The egg locket is named Octopussy after the 1983 James Bond movie was created that year in it's honor is valued a little over 19-thousand dollars.

The man was arrested late last week at a jewelry store in Auckland after police say he ingested the locket, set with 60 diamonds and 15 blue sapphires and containing an 18-karat gold octopus. The suspect is in custody and being medically monitored while authorities wait to recover the piece.
