Eagles Fan Goes Extra Mile To Help Cowboys Fan

Cowboys fans Ted &  Marianne Stephens flew into Philly from west Texas to attend their very first Philadelphia Eagles game at Lincoln Financial Field. Philly fans have a reputation as the meanest fans in the NFL. In January an Eagles fan ended up being fired from his DEI consultancy job after being filmed by a Packers fan screaming some of the most misogynistic foul mouthed things at the Packers fan fiancé. The video was entitled "What it’s like going to Philly just trying to root for your team,” was stunning in that dozens of Eagles fans not only heard what the man was yelling without coming to the 2 peoples defense many laughed. Philly fans became infamous back in 1968 when they booed and pelted Santa Claus with snowballs and that incident now has it's own Wikipedia page

Knowing this about Philly fans when Ted lost his wallet, in the stadium with his Texas drivers license, they assumed it was gone for good. But the wallet found by a hardcore fan named Christina, who is also a stadium employee.

She discovered the couple’s hotel keycard inside and started calling area Hilton locations until she located them. Although she was already 15 minutes outside the city, Christina turned her car around and drove back to Center City, getting to the Stephens’ hotel at 2 a.m. to return the wallet in person. The grateful couple took a pic with their new friend to mark the moment, with Marianne joking that Christina’s husband would now have proof of why she was coming home so late.

When offered a reward, the good Samaritan initially refused but eventually accepted, only to donate the money to the Eagles Autism Foundation
