Wyatt and Graham Haymond from Riverton, Utah, have developed a heart for service. As KSL-TV reports the boys are offering free yard work for seniors, those with disabilities, single mothers and veterans in the hopes of winning brand new lawn mower, weed eater & blower .
This is part of a challenge from Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service, a nonprofit that promotes youth community service. As of mid-July, they’d completed 21 lawns and are continuing to take requests. If they complete 50 lawns they’ll receive the new equipment which could help them launch a for profit lawn service.
The non profit wants to teach people about business and community service. They also do challenges for raking leaves and shoveling snow.
Graham said, "We get to meet new people and we can always come back and help them with other stuff that they need help with”.
Wyatt added "it’s hard work, but I've found that when you're helping people it’s fun too".
