Young Lady Stops Kidnapping

A nine-year-old boy was trying to make some money selling water bottles near a traffic light in Jacksonville, Florida. A 22 year old woman named Mikaya Williams posed as a customer and rolled down her passenger window. According to the boy she tried to talk him into getting in the car. He refused and that's when she grabbed his wrist and pulled him through the window. News 4 Jacksonville reports that Shameika Dowell was walking out of her job at the Save-A-Lot and happens to know the 9 year old boy as a family friend so she was planning to go over and buy a bottle of water when she saw the event unfold. She ran to her car and gave chase. After a few blocks she was able to cut the vehicle off and block it in. She got out and started kicking the locked door furiously and actually popped open. She pulled the boy out. She called 911 and prevented Mikaya from leaving. Williams has been charged with first-degree felony kidnapping and is being held without bond at the Duval County Jail
