CBS announced the contestants for their upcoming singing competition "The Road."
The 12 singers will open a series of shows for Keith Urban, with the crowds deciding which performers advance and which go home. In the end, one performer will be crowned king (or queen) of the road, and will win a prize yet to be revealed. The show airs on Sunday nights at 9pm this fall; no specific premiere date has be announced. The Road is produced by Taylor Sheridan and Blake Shelton and will feature Gretchen Wilson as the Tour Manager for these young artists.
