People have been wondering just when Van Hunt and Halle Berry might go all the way and get married. Well, speaking to “TODAY.com” after they appeared on “TODAY with Jenna & Friends,” Hunt revealed he already proposed to longtime girlfriend, joking, “It’s just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her.”
Berry explained she hasn’t accepted yet because “we don’t feel like we have to get married to validate our love.” However, she added, “I think we will get married...this is the person I should have married.”
Berry expressed deep happiness in the relationship, saying, “I’ve always wanted what we have.” She described Hunt as her best friend and someone she respects and loves. When asked when she’d say “I do,” Berry replied, “Soon.”
