Saturday night at Walmart can get crazy but this a new level. Police in the town of Kilgore in East Texas got a 911 call about a man trying to steal items while holding a gun.
Just before police arrived at the scene witnesses say the man accidently fired the gun. Turns out it was a flare gun. KLTV-TV reports the flare ricocheted off a couple of shelfs sending people scattering for cover. The security footage shows a man sheepishly then placing the gun on a shelf and trying to walk out. Police arrested 48 year old Roy Mack Biggs of Longview who was attempting to hide 10 items under his clothes. Biggs was booked into the Gregg County Jail on charges of deadly conduct and theft of property.
