Police Help With Promprosal

Promposals began about a decade ago and actually was a reality show in 2017. So how can a teen come up a unique way to ask their love interest to the prom? In Northern Colorado one boy got help from the police.

Loveland Police Department, Officer Hurst worked with the boy and both families to coordinate the surprise. The plan came together last Friday night when Hurst and fellow Officer MacArthur arrived at the girl's home with their lights flashing.

The officers approached the home and asked the girl to step outside (smiling the whole time so she wouldn’t get too scared), where the young man was waiting with a sign that read, “I know I’m not a cop, but will you be my ticket to prom?” "He presented his sign, and she was so excited, saying yes," said the department. "It was truly a representation of what being an officer really entails: positive impacts and community engagement".
