If you’re single with a pet, research says that’s a good thing.
British research of 2500 pet owners shows that a furry companion is just as good for your well being as being married!
The authors note that pet ownership increases life satisfaction by three to four points on a scale of one to seven. It shows that pets relieve stress, reduce blood pressure, keep you active and boosts life expectancy.
The study also finds that the joys of owning a pet have the physical and psychological equivalent to receiving an extra $90-thousand per year.
