Ash O’Brien and her husband Jarrett Kelley took their dog to the Dusty Rhodes Dog Park in Ocean Beach outside San Diego. Dusty Rhodes is a hall of fame pro wrestler so perhaps folks play a little rougher there.
The couple tells channel 10 that they were eating at a picnic table when the woman started yelling at them for not wearing masks. "We told her that we're eating so you can't wear a mask while eating. Then she said there's a sign that says the picnic area is closed due to COVID 19 so we can't eat here. Then she got really agitated that we said we are almost done so she came over and maced us and our puppy".
The husband took most of the spray by jumping in front of his wife and dog. Another park goer recorded the end of the confrontation.
