A woman shares on Reddit that she always knew the unique name she wanted to give any son she would have because it was her dad’s name. She shared this with a best friend, who she had been close to for five years from the ages of 18 to 24, but she would live to regret that.
Well, at 24 that friend got pregnant, and the Reddit user says she was as supportive as she could be for the friend, making herself available to her for anything she needed. When discussing baby names, the friend said she had one in mind but wasn’t revealing it, which she totally understood.
Cut to a week later, the friend has the baby and announces the name on Facebook, and yup, you guessed it, it was the same name the Reddit user wanted to name her future son. She realized the friend wouldn’t tell her the name because she knew she’d object, and they haven't talked since. It’s now been four years and the former friend tried to reach out to her.
