SC One Of The 10 Hardest Hit States By Job Losses

This morning The State Newspaper reported that another 87,686 South Carolinian's filed for unemployment this week. That brings up to 268,614 people who have lost their jobs in SC in just the past four weeks since the coronavirus quarantines began.

WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia based on increases in unemployment claims and in that time period report that South Carolina is the 9th hardest hit state by the closures in terms of job losses.
