A bakery in Finland has been spared from going out of business thanks to a creative idea.
The Ronttosrouva bakery in Finland was close to shuttering in March when nearly all of its orders were canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
That’s when owner Sanna Lampinen started making toilet paper cakes and they’ve been going viral on social media. The toilet paper cake is made of oat batter, passion fruit mousse and covered with white fondant, a thick, creamy sugar paste.
Thanks to the effort, orders are pouring in and not only did she get to keep all the staff, but has hired two more people!
