Jared Leto is the last to learn about what’s been going on with coronavirus. At this point, you’re probably thinking, “where’s he been?” Well... as far away from the news as possible, in the middle of the desert, on a 12-day meditation retreat.
It turns out Leto was practicing isolation long before it was a government-recommended activity. He’s taken to social media to break his silence and comment on the “mind blowing” events he’s returned to after 12 days of “no phone” and “no communication.” Now that he’s back, he’s among many celebs urging fans to “stay inside” and “stay safe.”
“We had no idea what was happening outside the facility,” he writes. “Walked out yesterday into a very different world. One that’s been changed forever. Mind blowing – to say the least.”
The NY Times has a story today about a dozen people who started a 25 day river raft trip in February. They just got out of the river and the man who greeted them delivered the stunning updates about how everything is different now. He did it from about 6 feet away because of a new dictate/phrase called social distancing. There wouldn't be many people on the road because of quarantines. And good luck finding toilet paper! LOL!
