A missing dog from Florida was found across the country and ended up in a Michigan backyard.
Kris Gibson was letting her dog out after dinner when she found another dog in her yard. She found him friendly and he had a collar on that identified him as Simba. She took him into her garage for the night and fed him and gave him water. The next morning she took him to an animal hospital to check for a microchip. They found one and discovered Simba had somehow traveled from Miami - more than 1,400 miles away from Kris's home in Michigan.
No one is sure how Simba made the trip in just two months, but everyone is glad he’s been found safe and sound.
He’s now being reunited with his Florida family who are “very happy” and “excited to get him back.
